Fertility Nutraceuticals, LLC, releases FERTINATAL Plus®, fertility-boosting prenatal vitamins specifically for would-be mothers over 35
Fertility Nutraceuticals, LLC, announced the release of FERTINATAL Plus®, a prenatal vitamin product designed to meet the special nutritional needs of women over 35 who are trying to get pregnant. Currently, no other prenatal vitamins on the market contain fertility-supporting benefit of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) to would-be mothers over 35, whose natural fertility may be on the wane.
FERTINATAL Plus® was developed based on the success of the company’s flagship product, FERTINATAL® DHEA. Introduced in 2012, FERTINATAL® DHEA helps women with low ovarian reserve get pregnant more easily with fertility treatments, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). Since its launch, many IVF centers and reproductive endocrinologists (doctors specializing in female fertility) have started incorporating FERTINATAL® DHEA into advanced fertility treatments they offer.
While women between 35 and 40 may not yet experience the same level of decline in ovarian reserve as women over 40, female fertility does start declining at around age 35. FERTINATAL Plus® was developed to address this unique need of women over 35 who don’t need the help of reproductive endocrinologist, but want to improve their chance of spontaneous pregnancy: FERTINATAL Plus® provides a smaller amount of fertility-boosting DHEA, along with a carefully considered mix of pregnancy-supporting prenatal vitamins and minerals, such as folic acid, calcium and iron.
According to Fertility Nutraceuticals, LLC, FERTINATAL Plus® uses the same pharmaceutical-grade, micronized DHEA as used in FERTINATAL®. The serving size of DHEA is smaller because women in this age range typically do not need the same amount of DHEA as women over 40, whose ovarian reserve is naturally much lower. Like FERTINATAL®, FERTINATAL Plus® follows all the manufacturing and quality control standards established by the Center for Human Reproduction (CHR), the New York-based fertility center that introduced DHEA supplementation into fertility treatments. CHR, which advised Fertility Nutraceuticals, LLC, throughout the development process of the product, endorses FERTINATAL Plus® for women over 35.
FERTINATAL Plus® is available exclusively from Fertility Nutraceuticals’ online store, as well as offices of select obstetricians and gynecologists. A 12-week supply of fertility-supporting prenatal vitamins is priced at $69.00.
